Unjust Killing of Advocate Chaudhry Shehzad

Punjab Lok Raj Party (PLRP), a Punjab-based political party working for the protection of the constitutional rights of Punjabis as well as all citizens of Pakistan, strongly condemns the unjust and brutal killing of Advocate Chaudhry Shehzad, a senior lawyer of the Sindh High Court.

Despite the passage of more than fifteen days, the failure of law enforcement agencies to arrest the real perpetrators has generated deep concern within the legal fraternity and among Punjabi families residing in Sindh, while also raising serious national-level questions regarding the enforcement of justice and rule of law.

PLRP maintains that justice in this case is neither a provincial nor an ethnic demand, but a national responsibility essential for public confidence, inter-provincial harmony, and constitutional governance.
